During this stage, customers can bring in sketches, images, or even old jewelry they wish to repurpose. The jeweler discusses various aspects, including materials, gemstones, metals, and design elements, to help refine the overall vision for the piece.
Once the initial ideas are gathered, the jewelry designers create detailed sketches based on the client’s input. These sketches are then transformed into a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) model, providing a realistic 3D rendering of the piece. This allows the client to visualize the design before production and make any necessary adjustments.
To further refine the design, a wax model or 3D-printed prototype of the jewelry is created. This physical representation allows the client to examine the proportions, size, and intricate details of the piece. Any final modifications can be made at this stage before the jewelry moves into the casting phase.
Once the wax model is approved, the design is cast into the chosen metal, whether gold, platinum, silver, or another material. Skilled jewelers refine the casting, smoothing out imperfections and ensuring that every detail is perfectly crafted to match the approved design.
If the design includes gemstones or diamonds, expert artisans carefully set each stone in place. Additional detailing, such as engraving or filigree work, is completed to enhance the uniqueness of the piece. Finally, the jewelry undergoes an extensive polishing process to bring out its brilliance and shine.
Before the piece is ready for delivery, it undergoes a rigorous quality inspection to ensure durability and flawless craftsmanship. Once it passes inspection, the final custom piece is presented to the client in a luxury box, ready to be worn or gifted as a cherished keepsake.
